This is an antique Windsor arm chair with rush seat. A exceptional example of the comb back Windsor chair features an impeccably woven rush seat and elegantly turned legs and stretcher. This beautifully constructed chair with impressive decorative presence will stand on its own in an entryway, dining room,  living room,bedroom or office.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Natural usage wear and patina to the wood. Left bottom stretcher shows minor sign of glue used to strengthen (as found). Fine hairline just underneath the left side arm secured by old repair.
