The shaped square top and lower shelf retain layers of old paint in black, red, ochre and muted gray, worn back over time to create a richly layered surface. Elegant in proportion and expressive in finish, the table brings an exceptional decorative element beside an upholstered chair, at the end of a sofa or into an entry layered with art and objects.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The table has a heavily aged painted surface with extensive paint loss, chipping, scratches and areas of exposed earlier paint throughout. The wood shows age-related splits and wear.
