This is an antique cast iron standing ashtray.  The decorative ashtray stand features a floral motif base with painted accents, scroll design pedestal frame, and a round bowl with two rests at top. Typically these decorated, elegant ashtray stands were used by women smokers for their more feminine appeal. This stand could also be used decoratively to hold a candle or plant. Or use outdoors in a garden setting. 

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. General wear to the metal and some loss of paint.
