86 Vintage Design Trade Program

Created for interior designers, architects, stylists, set designers, hospitality professionals, and other qualified members of the design trade, the 86 Vintage Design Trade Program offers preferred pricing, extended holds, and trade support when sourcing for your projects.

For designers who source regularly, Design Insider and Design Elite memberships offer access to our sourcing services, longer holds and storage, advance access, and preferred pricing across all categories, including our Heritage Collection.

Membership Levels

Three membership levels offer varying degrees of access, preferred pricing, and support based on your sourcing needs.

Design Member

Complimentary for qualified design professionals

Our complimentary trade membership provides preferred pricing and additional support when shopping 86 Vintage.

Membership includes:

• 15% off eligible regularly priced merchandise
• 48-hour holds
• Hold extensions up to 7 days
• Trade support

Heritage Collection pieces are excluded from the Design Member discount.

Design Insider

$1,500 for 6 months | $2,500 for 12 months

For designers who source vintage regularly, Design Insider expands the benefits of our trade program with access to sourcing, preferred pricing across all categories, and greater flexibility for client approvals, project timelines, and delivery.

Membership includes:

• Extended holds up to 15 days
• Additional photos and video upon request
• Complimentary storage for up to 1 month before shipment

Design Elite

$3,500 for 12 months

Design Elite offers our highest level of access for designers sourcing frequently or working across multiple projects, with greater preferred pricing, priority sourcing, extended holds and storage, and earlier access to incoming inventory.

Membership includes:

• 20% off regularly priced merchandise across all categories, including Heritage
• Priority sourcing*
• First look at new arrivals
• 7-day standard holds
• Extended holds up to 30 days
• Additional photos and video upon request
• Complimentary storage for up to 3 months before shipment
• 15-day advance access to sales

What you see online is only a small selection of what we have available.

With more than 200,000 square feet of facilities, 86 Vintage has the inventory and sourcing reach to work across projects of many different scales. Sourcing has long been at the core of our business, with experience working with interior designers, architects, fashion houses, set designers, restaurants, retailers, and other creative professionals.

Design Insider and Design Elite members can send us pieces they are looking for, whether that is a specific item, a pair or set, particular dimensions, a period or style, or a larger project list. We can search our existing inventory as well as pieces available through our sourcing network.

For projects requiring something more specific, we can also work with designers on custom furniture, including pieces developed for particular dimensions, spaces, or project needs. Custom work is quoted separately.

Design Insider members have access to our sourcing services throughout their membership.

Design Elite members receive priority sourcing and first consideration when pieces matching their requests become available.

Membership Terms

Membership Use

Membership is available solely to the approved member or approved business and may not be transferred to clients, purchasing agents, or other third parties.

Discounts

Design Member: 15% off eligible regularly priced merchandise. Heritage Collection pieces are excluded.

Design Insider: 15% off regularly priced merchandise across all categories, including Heritage Collection pieces.

Design Elite: 20% off regularly priced merchandise across all categories, including Heritage Collection pieces.

Sale and already discounted items are not eligible for an additional membership discount.

Membership discounts do not apply to shipping charges, delivery upgrades, custom work, or other services unless specifically stated.

Membership discounts may not be combined with other discounts or promotional offers unless otherwise stated by 86 Vintage.

Payment

The member is responsible for payment on purchases made using membership benefits. We do not accept payment directly from the member's clients.

Payment for merchandise is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Holds, Storage & Sourcing

Hold, storage, sourcing, early-access, and other membership benefits are based on the member's current membership level and availability.

Custom furniture and other custom work are quoted and billed separately.

Paid Memberships

Design Insider and Design Elite membership fees are non-refundable.

Membership benefits begin once payment is received and membership is activated.

Renewals

Design Insider and Design Elite memberships do not renew automatically. Members will have the option to renew at the membership rate in effect at the time of renewal.

If a paid membership is not renewed, paid membership benefits end on the membership expiration date.

Images

All photographs and other imagery are the property of 86 Vintage and may not be reproduced or used without permission.

Membership Status

86 Vintage reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership privileges at its discretion.

Paid membership fees are not refundable if membership is terminated due to misuse of membership privileges or violation of program terms.

Apply to the Design Trade Program

Membership is available to qualified design professionals. Complete and submit our application and select the membership level you're interested in.

Please provide two of the following business credentials with your application:

• Current business or professional license for a residential or commercial design-based business
• Resale or sales tax certificate
• Proof of current ASID membership
• Proof of current professional design or architectural association membership
• Interior design certification
• Business card

Applications are reviewed by 86 Vintage. Design Member membership is complimentary upon approval. Approved Design Insider and Design Elite applicants will receive an invoice for their selected membership term.
