Details

An antique stoneware storage jar attributed to Red Wing, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The form is classic and balanced, with a rounded shoulder, short neck, and thick rolled rim.

The deep Albany glaze gives the surface a warm, dark brown tone with subtle variation where the glaze gathers and settles. Its silhouette feels grounded and architectural, making it a strong anchor piece for a farmhouse kitchen, early American interior, or layered Primitive setting.

A handsome example of American utilitarian pottery with enduring presence.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Some minor firing flaws with spots of glaze loss.
