antique Western Stoneware jugs set of 2

Beautifully aged, these are antique Western Stoneware utilitarian jugs. The set includes a 2 gallon and 1 gallon jug from the Western Stoneware Company circa 1800s. They have brown slip tops and natural bases. They each feature the Western leaf logo in blue on the face. An excellent example of American stoneware.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. There are no cracks. There is a small chip in the ridge of the top of 2 gallon.
