This 1930s painted wooden stool features layers of weathered green paint over a simple turned-leg form with a round wood seat and box stretcher base. Decades of honest wear have created a richly aged surface that brings character to farmhouse, cottage, and collected interiors. Use it as extra seating or as a stand for pottery, plants, or a stack of favorite books, where its timeworn finish adds depth and warmth to the space
