From our Heritage Collection
An antique sand art collection from the late 1930s, assembled to represent “Earth Forms in different sections of the United States” and referenced from the Soils and Men 1938 Yearbook of Agriculture. The display features eighteen glass bottles layered with sands in striking natural hues, each preserved within the original tiered rack with a plexiglass front.
The varied tonal bands create a rhythmic, landscape-like composition that feels both scholarly and decorative. Styled on a bookshelf, mantel, or within a cabinet, the collection introduces color, pattern, and historical depth while maintaining a refined presence.
CONDITION
Sand art and frame is in good condition with wear consistent with age and use. There is a break in the plexiglass front at the top.
