This 1947 drop-leaf table by the American Chair Company pairs a broad, softly curved top with an intricate base of turned legs and clean horizontal stretchers. The repetition of the supports creates a sculptural rhythm beneath the warm wood surface. Its graceful form brings American Colonial Revival character to a kitchen, dining room or layered contemporary space.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. There is general surface and finish wear. The table has a center extension mechanism that opens approximately 21.75 inches; it was found without extension leaves, and none are included.
