From our Heritage Collection

This set of six 1940s oak dining chairs pairs five side chairs with a single armchair, all defined by sculpted plank backs, oval cutouts, pegged construction, and splayed legs joined by stretchers. Variations in the warm oak surfaces give each chair its own character while the repeated silhouettes create a beautifully cohesive set. Their straightforward American rustic design moves easily between a country house, ranch interior, and a more contemporary dining room.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The chairs have variations in color and finish, with surface wear, marks, and scratches throughout. Remnants of a Kunzelmann-Esser of Milwaukee retail label remains on the underside of one chair.

About Us

Our philosophy behind the collections of 86 Vintage is to find something from decades past and inspire our customer to translate it into their home and wardrobe.

With back grounds in fashion and interior design , our curators select various pieces that provoke thought and creativity.  Whether in its craftsmanship, worn patina, pattern, or color, each piece is appreciated for its unique character.

The collections truly are an extension of  the thought process poured into every design project.
