vintage 1940s Replogle world globe

This vintage 1940s Replogle world globe features a blue ocean lithographed metal globe, brass tone meridian, and metal base. The 8 inch Simplified Globe was produced by Replogle Globes, Inc. of Chicago with Gustav Brueckmann cartography and dates to circa 1948. The aged colors, detailed map design, and early post-war geography make it a wonderful piece for a library, office, or study.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The globe shows surface wear, scuffs, scratches, and areas of discoloration throughout. There is age related wear to the metal meridian and base.
