This 19th century primitive American farm bin features a rectangular wooden form raised on simple legs with a richly aged surface and traces of old white paint along one side. Hand forged iron hardware and visible tool marks reflect its early American farm origins, while the sculptural proportions and timeworn patina bring striking presence to primitive, farmhouse, and collected interiors
CONDITION
In good condition with wear consistent with age and outdoor use. The piece may have originally had a lid. An old repair at the base covers a hole in the wood with a removable board. The wood shows general finish wear and the metal hardware shows areas of corrosion.
