An antique single-wheel garden cultivator with a large spoked iron wheel, curved cultivating tines, and long metal handles. Worn red-orange paint runs across the frame against the dark aged iron, with bright green wrapped grips adding an unexpected note of color. The sweeping handles, open spoked wheel, and curved tines create a wonderfully graphic silhouette and make this early piece of garden equipment especially compelling as a decorative object.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The cultivator has aged paint, surface oxidation, scratches, and wear throughout. Green tape is present on the handles.
