With its curved iron supports, shaped wood seat, and handmade bench base, this antique buggy seat carries a strong blend of carriage and farmhouse influences. The open lower shelf and wide stance give the piece an architectural quality, while the weathered wood and dark iron surfaces create a layered, timeworn look suited for Primitive, farmhouse, and Americana interiors.
In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Age, wear, surface variation, and irregularities throughout contribute to the early utilitarian character of the piece.
