An antique American country rocking chair with a tall four-slat ladder back, turned wooden arms, and a dark woven seat. The warm brown wood finish complements its slender proportions and gently curved rockers. Dating to the late 19th, this traditional form brings the warmth of Early American country furniture to contemporary and period interiors.
CONDITION
In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The wood has a beautiful timeworn finish with scattered areas of paint loss and traces of an earlier blue-green color. The woven seat retains its overall integrity, with some localized loosening and slight separation of the strands along one edge, as pictured.
