This antique American stoneware bowl has a broad, low form with a substantial rolled rim and rich brown glaze. The contrast between the darker body and earthy upper band gives the bowl a strong graphic quality, while subtle tonal variation softens the surface. Generously scaled and beautifully proportioned, it makes a striking centerpiece on a table, island, or console.

CONDITION

In good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. There are minor surface marks, glaze irregularities, and small areas of wear.
