This pair of late 19th century turned wood architectural posts brings a strong collected farmhouse presence with hand turned detailing, softened proportions, and layered painted surfaces throughout. Their tall scale and sculptural form give the pair striking architectural character within primitive, wabi sabi, rustic European, and early American interiors, whether leaned beside a fireplace, layered into a covered porch, or incorporated into a custom architectural project.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Paint loss, surface wear, age splitting, weathering throughout, general chipping to the ends, and a short hairline crack to one post within the decorative turned section.
