This 19th-century barrel top steamer trunk features a curved wooden dome lid framed with black metal hardware. It includes the original hasp lock and matching locks, preserving its authentic character. The interior is unlined, with a paper artwork adorning the inside of the lid. This historic trunk makes a striking storage piece or decorative accent with timeless appeal.

CONDITION

The trunk is in good condition, featuring a beautiful patina on the metal and wood that highlights its age and character. The original leather handles have worn away naturally over time. The hasp lock is not working and the trunk comes without a key. There is some metal loss on the side top corner, consistent with its vintage wear.
