This antique baritone horn is marked “Beau Ideal, Chicago,” a Lyon & Healy brand from the late 19th to early 20th century. The piece features a copper-toned finish and detailed floral engraving that extends across the bell and body. With its bold silhouette and ornate surface, it makes a striking decorative statement in a music room, study, or entryway.

CONDITION

In fair condition with visible signs of age and use. The bell shows denting, and there is surface wear to the metal throughout. The valves have age-related wear, including sticking; one valve is detached from its socket.
