This large antique bentwood basket has an elongated oval silhouette formed by sweeping wooden slats and framed by turned end posts. Its blue painted finish accentuates the rhythmic lines and sculptural curvature of the open construction. Metal rings at either end allowed the basket to be suspended, adding another interesting detail to its design. With its generous scale and distinctive color, the basket makes a compelling decorative accent in an entryway, kitchen, or country interior.
CONDITION
