This antique brass horse harness ornament features a sculptural lion surrounded by scrolling openwork. The brass plaque has a rectangular opening at the top for attachment to a leather harness strap, with a richly aged surface that brings depth to the openwork design. A handsome piece of antique equestrian hardware for an English country, farmhouse, or layered traditional interior.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The brass has an aged patina with surface wear, oxidation, and areas of verdigris.
