This antique Arts and Crafts style student lamp features a sturdy brass central column with two arms, each topped with a warm amber glass shade. The robust brass shows a rich, aged patina, reflecting the movement’s focus on honest materials and quality craftsmanship. Its simple, functional design, free of excessive ornamentation, provides a warm, diffused light ideal for a study or office. This lamp appears to have been made originally as an early electric fixture.

CONDITION

In good working condition with wear consistent with age and use. Wiring is original as found. One shade has small chips on the base rim, which are hidden by the brass frame.
