This early 20th-century wood cabinet pairs a warm mustard-yellow painted exterior with glass-front doors and a rich dark wood interior. Beadboard backing, open shelves, aged hardware, and layers of visible wear give the cabinet depth and architectural character, while its shallow profile makes it particularly versatile. Filled with pottery and serving pieces in a kitchen or dining room, books and objects in a living space, or linens and collected pieces in a bedroom, it offers an expressive backdrop for display while bringing beautiful color into a room.
In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The painted finish shows wear, marks, scratches, and tonal variation throughout. The glass and hardware show age and wear. The turned wood feet are as found and appear to be later additions.
