This late 19th to early 20th century folding drying rack carries the clarity of early American utility in a form that feels unexpectedly architectural. Slender slats span the upper frame and may rest flat or angle slightly, subtly altering the silhouette and visual rhythm. The collapsible structure, secured with pegged joinery and early fasteners, reveals thoughtful construction, while the wood has developed a rich, time-softened patina. Sculptural yet grounded, it layers beautifully into a primitive, farmhouse, or collected interior.
CONDITION
In good, aged condition with wear consistent with age and use. There is rusting to the screws, and general light wear and patina to the wood.
