This late 19th century horse-drawn walking cultivator features a wood frame, long flared handles, iron hardware, and broad cultivating shovels. The open framework and sweeping handles give this early American farm implement a compelling sculptural presence, bringing the form and character of 19th century agricultural life into the interior.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The wood has a weathered surface with age-related wear, and the iron components have oxidation and patina throughout.
