Details

A 19th century primitive copper tripod pot with a hand-forged iron handle and forged iron legs. The hand-worked copper bowl retains remnants of its original tin lining, while its sculptural form and rich patina make it a striking addition to primitive, farmhouse, Early American, Colonial, and rustic interiors.

CONDITION

In good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. Oxidation, surface wear, dents, and patina are present throughout. Remnants of the original tin lining remain visible inside the bowl. There is a small break in the copper bowl at one of the leg attachments. The stand remains sturdy and stable.
