Details

This antique Heywood Wakefield Windsor chair features a curved spindle back, shaped maple seat, and turned legs joined by stretcher supports. Twisted wire bracing reinforces the frame and back, adding a distinctive detail to the traditional Windsor form. The maple finish shows a warm aged patina that highlights the grain of the wood and gives the chair a grounded presence suited to farmhouse, early American, and collected interiors.
