Details

An antique Hyde hay knife with an elongated steel blade, sculptural iron frame, and riveted wood grips. Originally used for cutting packed hay, its strong linear form and deeply aged metal make it a striking wall-mounted object for a farmhouse, cabin, or rustic interior. Marked HYDE on the handle casting. Early 20th century.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The metal shows oxidation, rust, and surface wear throughout, with age and wear to the wood handles. Sold for decorative use.
