This late 19th century ladderback chair features gently curved slats, tapered legs, and a handwoven splint seat in a traditional herringbone weave. The chair carries a warm, timeworn surface and a restrained farmhouse form with subtle Shaker influence. Its simple proportions work well in Primitive, country, cottage, and early American interiors.
