From Our Heritage Collection
A set of four late 19th-century Victorian wood chairs distinguished by tall ladder backs, turned finials, slender stretchers, and floral needlepoint seats. Worked in deep greens, blues, pinks, and muted florals, each needlepoint panel features its own floral composition, bringing color and pattern to the warm wood frames. Their tall, graceful proportions and floral seats make the set especially beautiful around a dining table in an English country or thoughtfully layered interior.
In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The wood shows surface wear, scratches, and tonal variation. The antique needlepoint seats show wear, fading, and areas of loss as pictured.
