A late 19th century American cottage chair with a shaped crest rail, handhold cutout, bentwood supports, and turned stretcher base. The vernacular silhouette reflects the practical character of everyday American furniture from the period, while the later mustard painted finish softens the form with warmth and texture. A versatile accent for primitive farmhouse, cottage, folk, and layered country interiors.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Later painted finish with scattered surface wear, scuffs, and age-related marks throughout.
