This set of three late 19th to early 20th-century Neoclassical architectural columns is carved from solid wood with deep vertical fluting and classical molded bases. Their substantial cylindrical forms vary in height, with two resting on circular bases and the tallest featuring a square plinth. The cream-painted surfaces accentuate the carved detailing and sculptural proportions. Together, the columns create an impressive architectural grouping, bringing classical form and a strong decorative element to an interior.
CONDITION
In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The cream-painted surfaces show chipping, scuffs, discoloration, and areas of exposed wood. Age-related cracks, small losses, and openings are visible, particularly at the ends and bases, as photographed.
