A pair of antique Independent Order of Odd Fellows ceremonial staff finials, each formed as an intricate openwork triangle incorporating the letters F, L and T for Friendship, Love and Truth. The interlaced geometry and contrasting aged metal surfaces give the pair a strong graphic quality, particularly beautiful viewed together. Their scale and sculptural forms translate effortlessly to a shelf, table or cabinet among art and collected objects

CONDITION

In good antique condition with wear and patina consistent with age and use. Variations in finish, oxidation and surface wear are present throughout. The two finials differ slightly in size and construction as shown.
