From our Heritage Collection

This antique American ladderback chair dates to the late 19th to early 20th century and features a hand-woven rush seat paired with an early painted finish. The slender proportions, gently splayed legs, and horizontal slat back reflect traditional country chairmaking, valued for its balance of utility and form. The softly worn surface reveals layers of time and use, giving the chair a quiet, architectural presence well suited to farmhouse, early American, and collected interiors.

CONDITION

In good, sturdy condition with wear consistent with age and use. Some loss of paint.
