The strong silhouettes of these four antique American country chairs make the set especially striking around a table. Broad back rails, slender spindles, shaped plank seats, and turned legs define their primitive country design, with layers of rust-orange and blue-green paint adding incredible color and depth. Dating to the late 19th to early 20th century, these painted wood dining chairs bring the warmth and individuality of early American country furniture to a dining room or kitchen.
In good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. Paint loss, surface wear, marks, and age-related cracking as shown.
