From our Heritage Collection

This antique primitive writing desk has a striking architectural form with raised gallery sides, divided cubbies, and a wide center drawer. Its timeworn painted surface reveals warm wood beneath, bringing depth and variation to the turned legs and sculpted gallery. The generous writing surface and beautifully proportioned upper storage give the desk a distinctive presence from every angle. An evocative piece of early country furniture that stands beautifully on its own.

CONDITION

In good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. There is wear to the old painted surface with exposed wood, scratches, marks, and age-related imperfections throughout. The drawer appears to have later hinges added to the front.
