Details

This late 19th century primitive plank seat chair features a hand-built form with a slanted spindle back, shaped plank seat, tapered legs, and beautifully aged painted surfaces throughout. The worn cream finish with traces of earlier blue paint gives the chair remarkable layered texture and a sculptural farmhouse presence. A striking decorative chair with strong primitive and early American character.
