Details

An antique primitive country chair distinguished by its thick wooden plank seat, gently curved crest rail, and two slender back spindles. Turned back posts, splayed legs, and simple stretchers define its early farmhouse construction, while the rich brown wood brings warmth and depth to the sculptural form. A beautiful piece of American country furniture for a farmhouse kitchen, paneled dining room, or Early American interior.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The chair has lost some of its original back spindles and shows surface wear, marks, and irregularities throughout, all contributing to its distinctive timeworn character.

About Us

Our philosophy behind the collections of 86 Vintage is to find something from decades past and inspire our customer to translate it into their home and wardrobe.

With back grounds in fashion and interior design , our curators select various pieces that provoke thought and creativity.  Whether in its craftsmanship, worn patina, pattern, or color, each piece is appreciated for its unique character.

The collections truly are an extension of  the thought process poured into every design project.
