Details

An antique primitive hand scraper constructed from wood with an adjustable triangular steel blade secured by a wing nut. Its pared-down construction is especially striking, with the long wooden body, exposed hardware and dark steel blade creating a graphic, almost architectural profile. A compelling early workshop tool that holds equal interest for its functional design and sculptural presence.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The wood and metal show surface wear, marks, oxidation and patina from use.
