Details

This vintage Remington Express wooden crate dates from the 1930s to 1940s and originally held 500 12-gauge shotgun shells. It features stenciled lettering in red and green, finger-jointed corners, and a sturdy construction typical of ammunition crates from this period. Marked with “Remington Express Extra Long Range Wetproof Kleanbore Priming Dupont Remington Arms Co Inc Bridgeport Conn USA” and “12 GA 2 3/4 IN LOAD RX 12 500 SHOT SHELLS,” the crate retains its authentic patina and rustic charm. A unique piece of Americana, it makes a striking decorative accent for farmhouse, industrial, or vintage-inspired interiors.
