An early 20th-century wood stool with a round plank seat, turned splayed legs, crossed wooden stretchers, and a central iron tension rod. Warm aged wood and rich tonal variation complement the sculptural lines of the turned legs and crossed base. Its versatile proportions lend themselves beautifully to seating or to placement beside an upholstered chair or sofa as a small accent or drinks table. Circa 1910s–1930s.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The wood has surface wear, marks, tonal variation, and areas of finish loss. Spacing is visible between the boards of the seat, with age and wear around the stretcher joints. Please see photos.
