Details

An early 20th century sleeve ironing board with a narrow padded surface mounted on a shaped wood support and base. Originally used for pressing sleeves and smaller garments, it carries a warm, developed tone through the wood, while the fabric top shows gentle wear from use. The long, tapered form and simple profile give it a grounded, sculptural quality suited to a range of interiors.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The wood shows a rich, time-developed surface. The fabric covering shows areas of discoloration and wear, contributing to its overall character.
