A vintage 1940s American wooden snowshoe with a gracefully curved bentwood frame and intricate rawhide latticework. The warm honey-brown wood, woven construction, and beautifully aged materials reflect its sporting heritage while offering an unexpected decorative element for today's interiors. Displayed on a wall among collected artwork or styled as an openwork decorative tray, it brings natural texture and history to a country house, mountain retreat, or thoughtfully layered contemporary home. Marked Lund U.S. 1943 and U.S.A. BQMO 9.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The wooden frame and rawhide webbing exhibit surface wear, discoloration, and a timeworn patina. There are red ink markings on the wooden frame.
