With its elongated stocking silhouette and rhythmic circular cutouts, this antique wood sock stretcher has a beautifully graphic presence. The old wood has developed a rich, naturally varied surface that gives depth to the simple form and nearly three-foot scale. Also known as a stocking dryer, its sculptural shape and wonderfully aged surface make it an especially compelling piece of primitive wall decor.

CONDITION

In good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. The wood shows natural surface variation and marks from age.
