An early 20th century Southeast Asian basket featuring tightly coiled handwoven fibers in faded red and black tones with a sculptural wrapped handle. The organic shape and richly textured surface give the piece a strong folk art presence that layers naturally into primitive and organic modern interiors.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Age-related wear, fading, and variation throughout the woven fibers, with minor irregularities and surface wear that add to the basket’s timeworn character.
