Details

This antique stoneware crock features a creamy white glaze, dark rim, and beautifully crazed surface. Its simple cylindrical form and restrained palette give the piece a sculptural quality, with subtle variation in the glaze adding depth to the surface. It brings an early utilitarian element to a kitchen or collected interior and can be styled with utensils, flowers, or gathered objects. It dates to the late 19th to early 20th century.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The glaze shows crazing, staining, surface marks, and wear throughout. There is a shallow chip along the bottom edge.
