This is a pair of Eastlake style platform rockers circa 1880s. The American wooden rocking chairs are a "his and hers" pair with variation in styling and upholstery. Both chairs feature turned wood frames with carved detailing on the platforms and plush velvety upholstery (one in navy blue and one in pink). One chair has two front metal casters.

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Some minor finish wear to the wood. Blue seated chair has some white scuffs on one of its platform legs. Light usage wear to the upholstery. Upholstery as found.
