Details

This antique Western Stoneware crock jug pairs creamy white stoneware with a rich brown Albany slip glaze across the shoulder and handle. The deep brown glaze and blue maple leaf mark bring beautiful contrast to the pale body, while the generous shape gives the jug a strong presence on a kitchen counter or open shelving. A striking piece of antique American pottery that mixes beautifully with old wood, iron, and earthy materials.

CONDITION

In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. There are no cracks. A small chip or firing flaw is present along the base of the jug.
