This antique drop leaf table carries a beautifully weathered white painted surface with pronounced age crackling across the top, leaves, and turned legs. The slim rectangular form rests on delicate turned supports with softly curved aprons, giving the table a balance of farmhouse practicality and late Victorian country character. With both leaves extended, the table opens into a versatile dining or work surface, while the folded profile keeps a compact footprint suited for smaller interiors. The naturally worn painted finish gives the piece a layered cottage presence that works especially well in primitive, Swedish country, English cottage, and collected farmhouse interiors. We believe the table dates to the late 19th century to early 20th century.
CONDITION
In good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. Heavy age crackling, paint wear, scratches, scuffs, and areas of paint loss throughout. The drop leaves have a slight downward slope when extended consistent with age and construction.
