This early 20th-century Windsor writing armchair combines a sweeping bow back with an integrated writing desk and two discreet drawers. A pierced floral splat and slender spindles give the chair an elegant rhythm, while the deep brown wood and beautifully worn surfaces lend richness to its sculptural profile. The shaped desktop extends gracefully from the arm, creating a striking silhouette from every angle. An exceptional piece for a library, study, or layered traditional interior.
In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. General surface wear, scratches, scuffs, and finish wear are present throughout the wood, with areas of heavier wear to the writing surface and seat. The drawers open and close as intended.
